Mouse is an approximately 10-year-old Mustang. She was another Humane Society
seizure that was placed with the Foundation because it was unlikely that she had ever had any training and was therefore unadoptable.
When she arrived, her feet were in such bad condition that any training had to be postponed
for at least a year. Since then, they have grown healthier and she thus has begun her training. Foundation staff was surprised
and happy to learn that she will carry a rider without a fuss--though her actual training is still very limited.
Mouse actually qualifies as a pony due to her small stature. She has no bad habits and
is very smart, and hopefully will be able to be used as a junior school horse when her training is complete.
